August 10th – UPDATE 11:00 am – Annual Meeting – We are pleased to announce that we will have our annual meeting after all – but the location will be at the Genealogical and Historical Society Meeting Room. Alexia Jones Helsey will present “Better Babies”, Dr. Daniel L. Smith, His Baby Hospitals and the Southern Pediatric Institute”. The meeting will begin at 11:00am with a light lunch (sandwiches, chips, fruit salad and dessert). At noon or there abouts, Alexia will give her presentation. Space is limited, you must call or email and reserve a spot. When you respond, please give your full name and the names of the people attending with you.
November 2nd – 10:00 am – Quarterly Meeting – Jeremy Jones to discuss his latest book.
